02. Classes > Foundation
In Foundation level sessions, students will put to use the fundamental techniques learned within their introductory privates. These small group training sessions focus on maintaining proper posture and spinal alignment (form).  All classes offer a full-body physical conditioning program where strengthening and stretching are the primary focus. Foundation classes are where the body's transformation begins.

Equipment Quartets
Foundation 1
Designed for our students who are rehabilitating injuries or have spinal considerations such as scoliosis, this level of group training is considered gentle, yet challenging. These sessions are designed to safely work a movement program that encourages stability of the spine as well as mobility of the joints in a supported range of motion.
*In many cases, a doctor's clearance for exercise is required to participate in class.

Foundation
Rotating on a weekly basis between Reformer, Wunda Chair and Cadillac syllabi, these classes are designed for those students who require an intense physical conditioning program but may be newer to the Fletcher PilatesĀ® work.  Each session will follow a series of beginning/intermediate exercises to promote endurance, strength and of course- flexibility.  A quartet is where the basis of your technique learned in private sessions are put to the test. Consistent attendance is recommended for progression in any exercise program.
*Pre-requisite - Completion of Introductory Package and/or permission of instructor.
