Helios Center for Movement is the premier studio in Chicago to offer Fletcher Pilates® teacher training through The Ron Fletcher Program of Study. This educational program includes a comprehensive professional teaching curriculum with unique continuing education opportunities and an exclusive endorsement from Ron Fletcher.

The Ron Fletcher Program of Study® Comprehensive Teacher Training Program is designed to give future teachers a thorough knowledge of Fletcher Pilates®, and to instill an impeccable understanding of how to teach movement to all levels with expertise, integrity and enthusiasm. The full range of Pilates exercises with all apparatus is incorporated, as well as the Pilates Matwork, the signature Fletcher Floorwork®, Fletcher Towelwork®, Spine Corrector and Percussive Breath™ technique.

The comprehensive program is taught in six, 5 day sessions, spread out over the course of a year.  Each session includes teaching and discussion of the movements, structured group classes and unique opportunities for student teaching.  Complete anatomy lectures pertaining to the class material and guided opportunities to Explore Movement are also included in sessions.  In an effort to guide teachers through every aspect of this process, we place a strong emphasis on communication between the student teacher and Fletcher Faculty Member in this teaching program.  Weekly and monthly communication is paramount to the success of our future teachers and will be scheduled between each student and their advisor.

Taught by Fletcher Faculty Member Jenna Wilayto, The Fletcher Pilates® Program Overview is the ideal "Prep School" to enter the Comprehensive Program.  The Program Overview covers all aspects of the beginning/intermediate Fletcher Pilates® syllabus from a student perspective in a group class setting.  

This is the most efficient and cost-effective preparation for entering our Comprehensive Program of Study.
